Global Climate Change
"Have We Reached the Tipping Point?"
Thursday, May 1 ~ Coyote Hills Golf Course ~ Fullerton, California

The Colleagues of the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics wrap up of the 2007-2008 season of the Colleagues Colloquium on Thursday, May 1 with a special panel presentation on Global Climate Change.

Understanding and responding to issues of a global nature demands a multifaceted approach incorporating the best research from every arena of science. This panel will step you through the complexity of Global Climate Change from the vantage points of several scientific disciplines - from biology and chemistry to physics and geology.

Darin Toohey, Ph.D., at Cal State Fullerton alumnus conducting atmospheric research as a faculty member at the University of Colorado in Boulder will join with CSUF faculty Matthew Kirby, Ph.D., a paleoclimatologist in the Department of Geological Sciences and Michael Horn, Ph.D., a marine biologist from the Department of Biological Science. Find out if we have, indeed, reached the tipping point. Bring your burning questions to what will surely be the most talked about and illuminating program of the season!

Seating is open to the public but is limited so be sure to RSVP here.
