Colleagues Colloquium Dean's Breakfast Briefing
Cybercrime can be defined as a type of crime where the element of trust is exploited through the use of computers and networks. Cybercrime examples include theft of trade secrets, network attacks, online identity theft, and credit card fraud. Over the past thirty years, cybercrime has evolved from individual, random acts to a staple of organized crime and other focused groups.
This presentation will cover the evolution of cybercrime, its effect on individuals, organizations, and governments, what you should know and what can do to protect yourself and your business.
