I have been responsible for Beckman's R & D investment during the time that the foundation for Beckman's current clinical business was laid.

I have been a leader in the incorporation of new technologies in both Beckman's products and business processes. These innovations included microcomputers, software, monoclonal antibodies and computer aided design.

I have been a part of Beckman's executive management team during the period when sales grew at 17% per year for ten years.

I led the quality strategy that resulted in Beckman obtaining ISO 9001 certification before most of our competitors.

I have been instrumental in bringing new technologies into the company which are now the basis for several of our product lines. These technologies include Capillary Electrophoresis and Biomek Automation.
