Hours Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary is open to the public, Tuesday through Sunday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.,
except major holidays.
Admission is free but donations are gratefully accepted as we depend on them to feed the birds.

Due to flood warnings and potential mudslide activity following the recent fires in Modjeska Canyon, Tucker will be closed during any rain events. Please call the sanctuary for the most up to date recorded information at 714-649-2760.

We at Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary would like to thank the many organizations and groups who have expressed concern for our well-being and made contributions of cash and/or goods to help us through this trying time. Due to your tremendous support, we no longer need birdseed as we received nearly 2,000 pounds of it. Thank you so much. The birds in the canyon will be very well fed for a long time. If you still wish to be of help, we would very much appreciate cash donations or gift cards to your favorite home improvement store. Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary is a 12-acre non-profit nature preserve, located in the heart of Modjeska Canyon adjacent to the
Cleveland National Forest.
It is owned and operated by California State University, Fullerton and its College of Natural
Sciences and Mathematics.
In addition to serving as a research center for Cal State Fullerton students, faculty and others,
Tucker is open to the public to enjoy and learn about the local wildlife and natural habitat in the Southern California
canyon area.
Tucker's facilities include a small natural history museum/interpretive center, two ponds, a bird observation
porch and feeders, relaxing patio and picnic areas, a small amphitheater, a caretaker's house, hiking trails, a gift shop,
restrooms and an ample visitor parking lot.
